Warpaint may be from LA, but they don't sound like sunshine and palm trees. Instead they channel the seedier side of the City of Angels. You know, the side that hangs out on the Sunset Strip way after sunset. The sound is dark and moody... but if you're nice, it will still take you surfing after breakfast.
