STEPHEN SOL & THE 7

Stephen Sol & the 7 deliver a blended comedy / indie rock experience marked by ridiculous characters, heavenly guitars, horns, and a strangely sincere devotion to spiritual healing. Based in Washington, DC, the group delivers a playful, psychedelic sound—think Bob Dylan backed by Pink Floyd and a gospel choir.

Riding momentum from their Sacred Energy and Live at Manor Time releases, the band has clearly kicked into another gear. DC Music Review wrote of their January Union Stage performance:

“Pure chaos in the best way possible…it was clear throughout the show just how much fun the band has together, especially when on stage—balancing high-energy, earworm melodies with the storytelling ability and themes of folk music.”

Will scary financial advisor Vinny Sorrentino return for Black Cat?
Will hot dogs be gifted to the audience?
Will the Sacred Energy dancers attempt to seduce Stephen mid-set?

Join us at Black Cat on July 10 and all of your deepest questions will be answered. Some of your deepest desires may be fulfilled. Colonoscopies will be available upon request from one of the backing singers (she isn’t licensed but has experience).

It’s all happening. July 10th at Black Cat.
