BUKO BUKO means “young coconut” in Tagalog and is a nod to the singer’s half-Filipino heritage. The spicy-sweet punk band was born out of a love for bouncy, dance-worthy tunes and a rebellion against soggy, serious punk. Imagine if Amyl and the Sniffers and the B-52s had a baby.
Our live shows are an experience to laugh, dance, and mosh. We don bright colors and cheap wigs, feed fans gummy worms, and get the crowd moshing to songs like “Spaghetti Time.”
