Although Washington, DC's (Stop Worrying &) Love the Bomb is heavily influenced by CBGB/Max's Kansas City punk, pre-Good Charlotte pop punk, and garage rock of all eras, the band's sound doesn't really fit neatly into any of the those boxes. Due to the subject matter of their songs, "nihilistic pop punk" might be an accurate description, or "post-apoc rock and roll." Those both sound dumb to say out loud, so call them whatever you want.
