The brainchild of a skate-punk born in the Sudan, Sinkane is the newest interpretation of Afrofuturism to hit the airwaves - layering beats under hints of tropicalia and tons of psychedelic reverb, the band creates a sound that's as reminiscent of prog rock as it is P-Funk. Taking the best elements of the east, west, past, and future, Sinkane blends them all into a unique whole that is entirely their own.
