When Justin Vernon left DeYarmond Edison to go on to indie wunderkind status as Bon Iver, the remaining members of the band carried on as Megafaun. Incorporating Byrds-esque harmonies, elegiac folk, and off-kilter instrumentation (think a rough around the edges Fleet Foxes), Megafaun earned just as many accolades as their former bandmate.
