Performers are discovered in many different ways. Dingy nightclubs, demo tapes, digital files uploaded to Facebook. Singer-songwriter Grace Woodroofe was discovered in a slightly more unusual manner. By the late Heath Ledger. Who then introduced her to Ben Harper. Who helped to mold her into an indie-blues chanteuse with a stage presence far beyond her years. And the result of all of this? An amazing show.
