Brandon Butler may not be a household name, but he's got a resume any indie and emo fan would pant over. As the frontman for the criminally overlooked Boys Life, he released two of the finest albums of mid-to-late 90s emo. Butler showed more hooky indie-rock leanings with his next project, Farewell Bend, before re-emerging as a folk and country-tinged artist in the group Canyon. Now, Butler is releasing music under his own name, and proving himself a mature, strong songwriter with an extremely unique voice.
