The Baggios is a blues rock band started in 2004 in the city of São Cristóvão, in the Brazilian state of Sergipe. Formed by Julio Andrade (Guitars e Vocals) and Gabriel Carvalho (Drums), the duo has collected great feedbacks around the world for their visceral shows and originality in their albums, with classic tones and blues riffs that mix very well with the weight of the seventies rock and roll and Brazilian music. With three albums, three EPs and a Live DVD, in 2010 the duo won the Prêmio Nacional da ARPUB prize with the song "Em Outras", have had their music videos featured in specialized channels and reviews on The Guardian and the Brazilian newspapers O Globo and Folha de São Paulo. Their two studio albums were featured in dozens of Best of the Year lists and the song "Sem Condição" was elected as one of the best songs in 2013 by Rolling Stone Brazil. In 2016, The Baggios was featured on Lollapalooza Brazil line up. They have toured in over 50 Brazilian cities, and recently have played six shows in Mexico, where they were highlighted on the local media. The duo has also been playing in Brazil's biggest music festivals, such as Virada Cultural de São Paulo, Festival Porão do Rock and Porto Musical, as well as played in historic venues like SESC Pompeia, known as a Brazilian Rock starter.
