When Blake Miller first started writing demos and recruiting friends to expand his vision of Moving Units, the idea of fusing dance music and indie rock was practically alien. Alongside groups like Franz Ferdinand, The Killers, and Bloc Party, Moving Units were at the vanguard of joining dance grooves to hard-edged rock'n'roll. Since then, tastes have changed. Members have joined and left the band. But the inspiration remains the same - making the dancefloor move all night long.
