A few years ago, I saw Mirah at a house show in College Park. I was there with friends, but also people who would later become friends, roommates, co-workers. It was the kind of show that, when mentioned in certain company, someone will inevitably say, " Hey, I was there!" You see, Mirah has a way of bringing people together. Whether it's the punks, the folkies, the indie kids, whatever - almost everyone can find something to love about this Philly-born songwriter's graceful and deliberate music.
