Though their sense of style and willingness to delve into the darker regions of dance often garners Light Asylum comparisons to the work of Grace Jones, a more apt reference point might just be Donna Summer and Giorgio Moroder. In 1975 Donna Summer met producer Giorgio Moroder, recorded the seminal electro-disco hit "Love to Love You" and started a long and fruitful partnership. 30 years later, vocalist Shannon Fuchness meets producer Bruno Coviello to start a fruitful partnership that has already created some of the most mindbending dance music around. Let's hope they stay together.
