Mothertongue
MotherTongue provides a safe space where all women may speak freely, powerfully, and have their creative and artistic voices heard. Every month, the proceeds from each event are donated to community-based nonprofit organizations that improve the lives of women and girls in the DC area.
The focus of the May Show will be the release of the Just Like A Girl Anthology. Local contributers as well as special guests Tristan Silverman (Chicago's Slam Darling and Champion) and DC musician Nadine Zahr will be on hand to celebrate.
